With Net Metering, a bi-directional electricity meter replaces your regular meter. During sunny hours, your solar system powers your home, and any excess units produced are automatically exported to the grid. In the evening or on rainy days, you pull power from the grid. At the end of the billing cycle, you are only billed for the "net" difference (Units Consumed minus Units Exported).

As a rule of thumb, each 1 kW of solar capacity requires approximately 85 to 100 sq.ft of shadow-free rooftop area. For a typical 3 kW residential setup (which covers 100% of an average home’s electricity needs), you need around 260–300 sq.ft of roof space. We can also build elevated superstructures so you retain full use of your rooftop for walking or gardening.

Solar panels generate electricity from light, not heat. On cloudy or rainy days, our high-efficiency Mono PERC / TOPCon panels still produce 25% to 40% of their normal rated capacity using diffused sunlight. Net metering balances out annual generation so summer surpluses easily offset monsoon dips.

Tier-1 solar panels have a design life of 25 to 30+ years and come with a 25-year manufacturer performance warranty. Since there are no moving parts, maintenance is minimal: simple periodic wiping with water every 2–3 weeks to remove dust.
